Let Me Introduce Myself…
I’m Sylvia and I’m here to help you learn more about your vehicle. I have years of experience having learned the little things that keep vehicles in good working order. I’m dedicated to helping people learn about their cars.
I have been learning different things about cars since I was 13 years old. I wanted to be an automotive mechanic.
A friend from the neighborhood taught me how to change a tire, an air
filter, and the oil. I was really excited about it and that was my first taste of the thing I knew I really wanted to do. I wanted to learn more!
I really wanted to go into auto shop in high school but because my guidance counselor and mother didn’t give me permission I was unable to take the class.
I still went out of my way to learn more about cars. I went to work in an auto parts store.
I was a cashier, but I learned to ask questions about the parts the customers got and what the/those parts were used for.
Some time went by before I was able to go back into working into another auto parts store.
I have gone out of my way for an auto parts customer by going home and doing the research for the parts they need, print them out, and give them the people to call to get the part
they want/need.
I eventually became a commercial parts driver and got to know my professional customers. I was able to figure out who was great at helping people and those who just wanted the money and didn’t care about the customer.
Especially women need to research what your vehicle needs in order not to get scammed or bring someone who knows cars with you.
Why do I want to do this?
Because I care about people who want to learn and help them the best I can.
Because I want to reach an audience of people who just want to learn things that take little time and little effort to do such as replacing wiper blades.
Because I want to make a difference especially with those who are going to be new drivers. If you don’t take care of the car, it will fail you.
Helping people via detailed posts, videos and other ways to help them learn things.
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime…
Thanks for visiting!
Sincerely,
Sylvia Guillemette
